Stroud is regarded as the arts and crafts capital of the area. The town prospered in the last century as a mill town. The town is still very attractive and there are many attractions that are well worth visiting .

Stratford Park is a large, open park with a lake, an old monastery and the local swimming pool. If you are visiting Stroud we recommend you spend some time here.
